When are your releases?

We will release wines twice each year. November 1st and April 2nd. Wines will be available for a limited time or until they sell out. Sign up to our email list to be notified when sales start to ensure you don’t miss your chance to purchase.

Do you offer tastings?

Tastings are by appointment only and we will start accepting bookings in 2020.


Can I visit the winery?

At this time, we will not be open daily.


Where can I buy your wines?

You can buy our wines online, and at the LCBO and SAQ.


Where is your winery?

We are located on the Beamsville Bench, but we make our wines from hand-selected vineyards in Niagara.


Why these vineyards?

Over Thomas’ career in Ontario, he has worked with many great grape growers.  When Thomas and Mary started Bachelder they want to use vineyards that they believe truly express the Ontario Terroir.  We work closely with our growers to ensure the terroir is expressed in the wines from start to finish.


What can I buy?

Check out our online store for the selection of wines that we can ship to you. Sign up to our email list to be notified which wines will be available in the next release.


Can I order less than six bottles?

As all of our products are packed and shipped for delivery via Canada Post, the minimum order is six bottles. Mixed cases are welcome. Why not combine your order with a friend? Then you both can share the delivery expense!


Can I pick up my order and save the delivery charges?

We do not have regular hours at the winery and so pick-up is not currently available.


How much does delivery of an order cost?  

A shipment of 6 - 23 bottles is $20 to most Canadian addresses. Delivery for 24 bottles and over is free. Consider pooling your order with a friend and you could both save on delivery! 


When will my items arrive?

Orders ship between 5 to 7 business days depending on your address.


How do you ship?

We ship with Canada Post.


How can I track my shipment to anticipate its arrival?

Once your shipment is in Canada Post’s hands, they will email you updates, including a tracking number and the link to their site where you can track your parcel. (Of course, you have to have provided an email address to us when you order for this to work). 


Can the mail carrier leave my wine at the door?

No. At no time can your wine be left unattended and unsigned for. If you are not home when Canada Post attempts delivery, they will leave a notification of where you can pick up and sign for your order. It must be received and signed for by someone 19 years or older. For this reason, we strongly encourage you to use a business delivery address.
